Description:
The Consulting Solutions Engineer acts as a business partner to the Zoom Field Solutions Engineers and Partner Solutions Engineers in delivering technical Subject Matter Expertise (SME) for the Zoom product portfolio.
The ideal candidate will have a blend of Pre-Sales experience, Analytical Skills, Project Management experience, and demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively across functions. The individual will be self-motivated, action orientated, prepared to take ownership, and is passionate about the Solution Engineering team’s wider success and ultimately Zoom’s customer happiness.
As a Consulting Solutions Engineer (CSE) - Zoom Phone you will:
- Partner through the solution engineers with our sales organisation
- Partner with Zoom Channels SE Team to drive business growth
- Partner with Hardware Manufacturers to drive business growth
- Partner with the Solutions Engineering Team to provide specialised expertise
- Feed back into GA team to drive customer feedback and improve product
- Develop a strong understanding of key product differentiators and Competitive Analysis for the Region
- Be an innovator that will discover new ways to sell the Zoom Phone Product Portfolio and drive new business initiatives
Requirements
- Excellent Understanding of the Zoom Phone Product Portfolio,
- High proficiency in problem solving skills to meet customer requirements
- Ability to discuss Business Objectives, Business Outcomes, Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and Return on Investment (ROI) with customers;
- Strong time management skills with the ability to manage multiple engagements in different time zones
- Excellent communicator and ability to present topics in a clear and concise manner to varying levels of technical audience
- Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred
- Pre-Sales Engineer with 7+ years experience in Unified Communications (UC), Video and Web conferencing solutions, including Zoom, Cisco and Microsoft.
- Strong technical and interpersonal troubleshooting skills, perseverance and patience
- High proficiency with promoting and selling Software as a Service knowledge (SaaS)
