We are seeking a Contract manager – Construction/Development to join our client in Dubai in a permanent role, ensuring that all contractual obligations are fulfilled and projects are completed on schedule and within budget. The ideal candidate will excel at drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts, maintaining legal compliance, resolving disputes, and tracking project progress.

Key Responsibilities:
- Contract Management: Create, evaluate, and negotiate various contracts, including those for subcontractors, purchase orders, and services.
- Legal Compliance: Ensure all contracts conform to legal standards and company policies.
- Documentation: Maintain and update comprehensive records and documentation for all contracts.
- Project Monitoring: Supervise project progress to ensure all contractual obligations are met.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth project execution.
- Site Visits: Perform site visits to verify adherence to contract terms.
- Risk Mitigation: Identify and mitigate risks related to contract terms and project execution.
- Dispute Resolution: Resolve any disputes or issues concerning contract interpretation and compliance.
- Risk Management: Develop and implement strategies and contingency plans for managing risks.
- Budget Management: Manage project budgets and implement cost control measures.
- Financial Reporting: Monitor project expenses and regularly report financial status to senior management.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Reporting: Prepare and submit detailed reports on contract status, project progress, and financial performance.
- Legal Coordination: Work with legal and compliance teams as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Certification in Contract Management (e.g., CCCM, CPCM) is an advantage.
- FIDIC certification is required.
- Proven experience as a Contract Manager or a similar role in the construction industry, especially with mid to large-scale projects in the UAE.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Primavera) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong understanding of contract law and construction regulations.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines effectively.
