Corporate Commercial Lawyer

MAS LAW, a leading regional law firm strong corporate practice in the UAE and KSA, is seeking a highly skilled and qualified corporate commercial lawyer to join its growing team in the region. The candidate will be working out of the firm’s offices in Dubai.

The candidate must have a proven track of M&A, Funds and ECM experience in the region.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Providing sound legal counsel to local, regional and international clients.
• Handling a variety of work, including M&A, ECM and commercial transactions across the Middle East with a specific focus on Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.
• Managing and negotiating transactions.
• Drafting a wide range of corporate and commercial contracts.
• Overseeing and mentoring junior lawyers, paralegals and other support staff.
• Communicating with and managing clients.

Skills and qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in law from a recognised university (an LLM or equivalent is preferable).
• Qualifications as a practicing lawyer from a recognised legal body in a common law or a civil law jurisdiction.
• Minimum of 6 years of PQE working with international or regional law firms.
• Proven track record of acting and leading on M&A and ECM transactions.
• Fluency in English is a must. Fluency in Arabic is preferable.
• Excellent drafting and negotiation skills.
• Exposure to advising on Saudi Law, UAE law and cross-border transactions.
