Corporate Credit Analyst

 

Description:

The Corporate Credit Analyst will evaluate and analyze corporate credit applications to determine financial stability and creditworthiness. This role includes conducting thorough financial assessments, reviewing credit reports, and structuring financing solutions that align with the company’s risk policies and Islamic finance principles. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with relationship managers, as well as risk and legal teams, to support corporate financing efforts while ensuring the maintenance of a healthy credit portfolio.

 

Key Responsibilities:

· Analyze corporate credit applications for various financial products, including working capital, trade finance, and project finance.

· Conduct in-depth financial statement analyses to assess credit profiles.

· Perform credit risk assessments and recommend appropriate risk mitigation strategies.

· Provide comprehensive credit recommendations and establish suitable credit limits.

· Collaborate with relationship managers and directly engage with clients to clarify and discuss credit-related matters.

· Monitor credit facilities, identify potential risks, and support restructuring or recovery efforts as required.

· Ensure strict compliance with internal policies and Central Bank regulations.

 

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is required. CFA or Islamic finance certification will be considered an advantage.

 

Experience:

Minimum of 3 years of experience in corporate credit analysis, with a preference for expertise in Islamic finance.
