Hiring Corporate MIS Specialist

Key Skills:
- Advanced Microsoft Office proficiency (Advanced Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Power BI)
- Capability to design and implement sophisticated Management Information (“MI” or “MIS”) tools, systems and dashboards for management reporting purposes using MS Access and Power BI.
- Excellent analytical skills for interpreting financial and operational data, identifying trends, and producing decision-making insights in a clear and concise format.
- Excellent English communication skills. Business writing, preparing Board level papers, writing and reviewing policies is an integral part of the role.
- Skilled at creating comprehensive reports and visually appealing presentations to effectively communicate data-driven insights.
- Experience managing databases, ensuring data integrity, information security, implementing quality controls, and performing regular accuracy audits.
- Excellent interpersonal and ability to collaborate, present material in meetings and build relationships.
- Having a creative mindset and being proactive are extremely important in this role. New idea generation and solutions to improve and automate processes are required.
- Experience of working at a Financial Institution, Bank or a consulting firm.
- Understanding of banking products.
- Project management skills would be a great plus.
General Job Description:
- The role is mainly focused on Commercial and Corporate Banking.
- Extract, analyze, report, and visualize accurate data in accordance with business and management requirements.
- Improving efficiency and accuracy by automating data collection, analysis, and reporting processes.
- Proactively identifying opportunities to enhance MI reporting systems, tools, and processes.
- Ensuring data integrity by implementing data quality controls and data validation procedures.
- Carrying out regular audits and reconciliations to detect and resolve data discrepancies.
- Prepare meeting materials, take minutes, and monitor/follow up on action items.
- Assisting in the creation of various PowerPoint decks, periodic reports, documentation, guidelines, and Memorandums.
- Prepare highly professional, Board level, papers, presentations.
- Contributing to team projects, initiatives, and process improvement efforts within the Corporate Banking Team.
- Work with the Bank’s Coverage teams, unit heads and client relationship management on a daily basis to learn about transactions and activities on the ground.
