Counter Sales

Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Counter Sales Representative to join our team, a leading Building Material/ construction chemical trading company. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills and a strong understanding of customer relationship management (CRM) to assist our valued customers in finding the right construction chemicals and materials for their projects. Proficiency in English is highly important as it will enable effective communication with our customers.

Responsibilities:

1. Greet and assist customers in a professional and friendly manner at our counter.

2. Provide product information, recommendations, and solutions to customers based on their needs.

3. Process customer orders, including accurate order entry, invoicing, and payment processing.

4. Maintain a clean and organized counter area and showroom.

5. Keep up-to-date with product knowledge and industry trends to provide informed assistance to customers.

6. Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns promptly and efficiently.

7. Collaborate with the sales and warehouse teams to ensure efficient order fulfillment.

8. Utilize CRM software to record customer interactions, sales leads, and order history.

9. Actively engage in upselling and cross-selling to increase sales revenue.

10. Prepare and maintain sales and inventory reports as needed.

11. Assist in periodic stock counts and inventory management.

12. Follow company policies and procedures, including safety guidelines.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.

2. Previous experience in sales, counter sales, or customer service is preferred.

3. Knowledge of construction chemicals and materials is a plus.

4. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

5. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

6. Ability to work well in a team and independently.

7. Proficiency in using CRM software or a willingness to learn.

8. Basic computer skills (MS Office, email).

9. Ability to lift and carry heavy materials if required.
