In addition to their mastery of the technical aspects of photography and videography, this individual should have expertise in editing, motion graphics, basic animation, music selection, and a deep understanding of the book publising industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Photography and Videography: Create visually stunning and engaging photo and video content for various purposes, including marketing campaigns, editorial features, product presentations, and more.

• Advanced Editing: Edit and enhance raw photo and video footage to meet quality and brand standards. Employ advanced editing techniques to craft polished final products.

• Motion Graphics and Basic Animation: Utilize motion graphics and basic animation skills to add dynamic elements to video content, enhancing storytelling and visual appeal.

• Music Selection: Select appropriate music tracks that align with the mood and message of the content, enhancing its impact on the audience.

• Publishing Expertise: Leverage previous experience in the publishing industry to understand the specific requirements and preferences of the target audience. Adapt visual content to suit various platforms, formats, and styles.

• Creative Direction: Collaborate with creative teams, art directors, and designers to develop innovative photo and video shoots concepts. Provide valuable insights into visual storytelling and content direction.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Photography, Film Production, Media Arts, or a related field.

• Proven track record of creating visually striking photography and videography, ideally within the publishing industry.

• Proficiency in advanced editing software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Lightroom) or equivalent tools.

• Strong understanding of motion graphics, animation principles, and visual storytelling techniques.

• Demonstrated ability to choose and synchronize music effectively with visual content.

• Excellent project management skills, including prioritizing and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
