An excellent opportunity is available with a fully digital corporate bank in set up phase, who are licensed and regulated by the FSRA of Abu Dhabi for a Credit Risk Assistant Manager.
Reporting to the Chief Risk Officer you will:
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with a motivated and proactive approach to drive the comprehensive risk management across the business according to the Rule books and policies
- Prepare, review and update the Branch's policies and procedures on credit risk
- Provide comprehensive risk management training within the Business
- Oversee the implementation of the Branch's risk management policies and procedures and identify weakness or risk events
- Prepare regular or ad-hoc reports to the Senior Management, regarding comprehensive risk management, including credit, liquidity, market, operational risk management, and research papers on country risks or specific industries for management information
- Manage life-cycle credit application and review process
- Post-approval/lending credit risk management, identify potential risks, propose and review remedial action/problem loan workout plan and provisioning
- Monitor the market, liquidity and operational risks of the Branch on an ongoing basis to ensure compliance with standards
