Key Responsibilities:
- Lead customer engineering initiatives for the MENA region (Middle East & North Africa).
- Initiate Problem Reports (PR) based on customer and field feedback on newly launched products.
- Work closely with OEMs on engine assembly, testing, and provide technical support for product deployment.
- Provide detailed product features and benefits to customers, ensuring clarity and satisfaction.
- Release application bulletins to channel partners and end customers for technical understanding.
- Conduct application studies and provide inputs for future product development based on customer needs.
- Ensure product standardization, perform competition benchmarking, and keep products aligned with local legislative requirements.
- Release and manage product specification sheets, brochures, and support marketing efforts with technical documentation.
- Offer technical support for tenders, customized products, optional accessories, and complex multi-set generating projects.
- Coordinate with sales to address and resolve technical challenges during discussions with customers.
- Validate product applications, ensuring technical fit for customer-specific requirements.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Handle CCPM requests through ASANA Projects for streamlined project management.
- Provide insights and feedback from the field and coordinate the assembly and testing of engines.
- Maintain ongoing interaction with customers for technical support in key markets, providing application validation and addressing technical challenges.
Qualifications:
- B.E. in Mechanical or B.E. in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- 10 - 15 years of experience in customer engineering, particularly in the diesel engine and generator set industry.
- Expertise in handling customer feedback, working with OEMs, and managing technical aspects of power generation products.
- Strong understanding of MENA regional markets, regulations, and customer needs.
