We are seeking a skilled and motivated Customer Service Associate to join KLN Shipping & Logistics Services LLC team immediately. Responsibilities:
- Handling inbound and outbound freight inquiries, including managing sales rate routing and flight/sailing schedules. This involves securing the best rates from various Airlines or Liners.
- Coordinating with international and local Agents to ensure the timely status update of shipments and fulfilment of all necessary requirements.
- Managing the export booking process, overseeing SI instructions, and collaborating with Shipping Lines for final BL issuance.
- Know all the necessary and required documents in shipping.
- Facilitating communication with liners to determine shipment charges, including Delivery Orders, LCL, FCL, and associated fees.
- Coordinating closely with the operations department throughout customs procedures, cargo collection, and delivery arrangements.
- Creating quotations and generating monthly sales reports to support informed decision-making.
- Providing clients with expert advice on the required documentation for their shipments and keep them updated with their shipment status.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Minimum 4 years of experience in a similar capacity within the freight forwarding industry.
- Strong understanding of freight forwarding processes and logistics operations.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with clients and colleagues.
- Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
