Job Overview:

We seek a highly analytical and experienced data analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of experience working in the banking or fintech sector, with a proven track record of collecting, analysing and interpreting large and complex financial data sets. The data analyst will develop and maintain data models, dashboards, and reports to support business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities and Qualifications:

• Collect, analyze, and interpret large and complex financial data sets
• Develop and maintain data models, dashboards, and reports to support business decision-making
• Identify trends and patterns in data to provide insights and recommendations to stakeholders
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement data-driven solutions
• Communicate findings and recommendations to senior management and other stakeholders in a clear and concise manner
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data analysis and visualisation:
• Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, statistics, computer science, or a related field
• Three to five years of experience in banking and fintech data analysis
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work with large and complex data sets
• Highly proficiency in SQL and very experienced with data visualisation such as Tableau or Power BI or Angular
• Experience with programming languages such as Python or R
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment in a client facing role
• Certified Alteryx Designer developer
