Data Engineer – Application Support Specialist
Location: Dubai, UAE
Duration: Long term
Requirement:
- Hands-on knowledge of Informatica BDM and Power Center for troubleshooting production issues.
- Hands-on knowledge of Hadoop components for troubleshooting production issues – viz OOZIE, Ambari, PySpark scripting. HDFS commands.
- Proficient in writing advanced Hive queries.
- Knowledge of relational and non-relation Databases (Sybase IQ, Oracle, MSSQL, Mongo DB, Hive, SAP HANA).
- Hands-on experience in Unix Commands.
- Good knowledge of reporting tools viz.Power BI, Tableau.
- Experience in Application production support within the ITIL Framework.
- Excellent knowledge and hands-on experience in
- Application troubleshooting, configuration and maintenance.
- Application performance tuning and optimization
- Resolution of tickets with quality and within SLA
- Proactive monitoring and incidents analysis
- Experience in Workflow maintenance and Configuration.
Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in a relevant Technical position in large organizations.
- Candidate should be willing to work on a roster basis – including weekends/nights.
