Description:
We are looking for a director level data consultant to lead the growth of Fluency’s business pipeline in the Middle East, and to manage and expand clients in the local region. The role includes the oversight of delivery for clients in the region, working with the support of teams in London and US. Depending on the successes there will be opportunity to expand the team in the region.
The role will require:
- Strategic thinking and planning. Specifically outlining where to play and how to win. More specifically, this means clarity around Fluency’s biggest opportunities (vertical, regional, engagement type etc) with precise thinking about what we need to do access the opportunity.
- A drive and hunger for new business. This role is about accessing incremental revenue opportunities. The individual needs to have a natural ability to identify, qualify and close out new business opportunities. They are not expected to do everything on their own, but they are expected to facilitate the process, be clear about the support they need and make things happen.
- A networker and relationship builder. There’s opportunity internally and externally if the individual is able to quickly build meaningful relationships and develop and nurture a positive network.
- A data consultant’s mindset. The individual needs to be fluent in communicating the power of advanced data and insights capability set, and immediately able to creatively this thinking creatively to client challenges, and inspire potential clients to engage with us on a range of their challenges.
- Best in class stakeholder management and communication. Stakeholders need to believe in the offer, feel excited about the opportunity and see the upside. Key stakeholders are the Fluency founders, the Consultancy CEO and the UAE’s Consultancy Director. Therefore, the individual will need to provide a simple performance framework to feedback to ensure the aforementioned leadership understand the progress, opportunity and potential. We’re talking clear metrics around leads, briefs and conversions.
- Confidence and comfort being able to hit an incremental revenue target in year one, selling the products and services of an award-winning data capability.
