As part of a cross-functional team of engineers, data scientists, and product owners you will be responsible for designing, implementing, optimizing, and evaluating our product (specific product language here) algorithms. #Requirements
- An advanced degree in Stats, Math, Physics, Computer Science, or another quantitative field
- Several years’ experience analyzing or building models on large complex datasets
- Strong knowledge of applied statistics, experimental design, and causal inference
- Knowledge and experience with popular Machine/Deep Learning libraries such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, Scikit-Learn, Pandas, NumPy etc.
- Python & C++ (Mandatory) coding knowledge to proficiently build prototypes and analyze large data sets. Bonus: Knowledge of SQL and experience with big data technologies (e.g. BigQuery, etc.)
- Excellent communication skills and confidence in presenting ideas and findings
- You work well independently and prioritize effectively
#Responsibilities & Authorities
- Develop our product algorithms by integrating data and experimenting with customized approaches to solve issues in product search and ranking
- Design, Analyze, and Interpret our AB tests and experiments of different product strategies
- Solve non-routine analysis problems applying advanced analytical methods as needed
- Push to bring new ideas into production and apply state of the art models while always keeping business priorities and technical feasibility in mind
- Determine new evaluation metrics and techniques to anticipate test performances and better evaluate the impact of our actions.
