Hiring Desktop Support Technician
Description
The Desktop Support Technician’s role is to support and maintain organizational computer systems, desktops, handheld terminals (HHT’s) and peripherals. That includes installing, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and upgrading all organizational hardware and equipment while ensuring optimal workstation/devices performance. The person will also troubleshoot problem areas (in person, by telephone, or via work order) in a timely and accurate fashion and provide end-user assistance where required.
Position Requirements
- Formal Education & Certification
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma.
- 2 or more years IT experience in any manufacturing industry.
- Prior UAE experience preferred but not required.
Knowledge & Experience
- Excellent knowledge and troubleshooting experience of Laptops, desktop, Android devices, dot matrix printers, LaserJet printers, network cabling, CCTV setup, Label printers, Attendance machines and Network access points.
- Hands-on hardware troubleshooting experience.
- Extensive equipment support experience.
- Working technical knowledge of operating systems, IP addressing, and user standards.
- Ability to operate tools, components, and peripheral accessories.
- Able to read and understand technical manuals & procedural documentation.

- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
- Ability to work at night when required.
- Good written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
Work Conditions
- Lifting and transporting of moderately heavy objects, such as computers and peripherals.
- In-district travel is required for the purpose of on-site hardware and software troubleshooting and repair.
- Shall be responding calls at night, In case of any support required during night operations.
- Salary Starts 3,000/- (Starting) plus accommodation and benefits as per UAE Law.
