Document Controller (Construction)
Role Overview:
As a Document Controller, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient management and control of project-related documentation within the construction domain. Attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to maintain accurate records.
Responsibilities:
- Document Management: Establish and maintain a standardized document numbering system for all project-related documents, including drawings, specifications, contracts, and correspondence.
- Create and manage project folders, ensuring proper organization and accessibility for team members.
- Generate Minutes of meeting and reports as needed.
- Document Control: Process incoming and outgoing documents promptly and accurately.
- Maintain document registers, recording details such as document type, revision status, and distribution.
- Physical and Digital Records: Maintain physical and digital records of project documents.
- Assist in managing document changes, revisions, and updates.
- Audits and Reporting: Support internal and external audits by providing requested documents.
- Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., engineering, construction management, or business administration).
- Experience: Prior experience as a document controller in the construction industry in UAE is a must.
