Position: Draftsman for Fitout & Joinery works

Location: United Arab Emirates ????????

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: AED 7,000.00 – AED 8,000.00 per month

Job Responsibilities:

• Attending project induction meetings and site visits.
• Able to take measurements onsite and use technical knowledge to pick out important elements to consider before starting the work.
• Discuss with the team about the materials to be used for the build and recommend efficient and effective methods for the build while keeping site installation and dismantling in mind.
• Prepare shop drawings and send them to the client for approval.
• Communicate and share with the factory manager the approved drawings and visit the factory to ensure that the build is according to the designs provided.
• Visit the site during installation and guide the site manager when required.
• Any other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Draftsman in the interior design, Fit-out, and joinery industry in the UAE (mainly for retail, residential, and F & B projects).
• Have a strong understanding of construction methodologies.
• Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
• Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software, such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit, or similar tools.
• Solid understanding of drafting techniques, technical drawing conventions, and industry standards.
• Ability to interpret engineering sketches, specifications, and design concepts.
• Knowledge of local market rates and suppliers would be advantageous.
• Able to communicate clearly and fluently with all parties using a skilled comprehended technical language.
• Good Coordination and Organization Skills.
• Teamwork and Team management.
• Able to join immediately.
• A driving license is a plus.
