Drawing Reviewer

Description:

He/She will be responsible for reviewing technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, and designs to ensure they meet required specifications, standards, and regulations, Will work closely with design teams, engineers, and project managers to identify discrepancies, errors, or inconsistencies in the drawings before final approval or production.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and review ID technical drawings to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to project specifications.

• Verify that drawings comply with industry standards, codes, and safety regulations, as well as client requirements.

• Identify and report any discrepancies, inconsistencies, or errors in the drawings and recommend corrective actions.

• Work closely with designers, engineers, and architects to resolve issues or modifications in the drawings. Facilitate communication to ensure all parties are aligned on project needs.

• Maintain a system for organizing and tracking drawings and revisions, ensuring that the most up-to-date versions are available for review and distribution.

• Ensure the quality of work produced in the drawing phase aligns with the overall project goals and timelines.

• Maintain a detailed record of drawing revisions, approvals, and feedback for documentation and auditing purposes.

• Offer constructive feedback and suggestions for improvement to drawing teams and designers.

Skills:

o Proficiency in CAD software & Bluebeam

o Strong understanding of technical drawing conventions, standards, and regulations.

o Knowledge of relevant industry codes and compliance standards.

o Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify errors or discrepancies.

o Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

o Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

o Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate across teams.
