Description:
As an E-Commerce Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the success of our online sales platform. You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to drive online revenue, enhance the customer experience, and optimize overall e-commerce performance. This position requires a blend of strategic thinking, technical proficiency, and a deep understanding of consumer behavior in the online space.
Key Responsibilities:
E-Commerce Strategy:
- Develop and execute the overall e-commerce strategy in alignment with business goals.
- Identify new opportunities for online revenue growth and market expansion.
Website Management:
- Oversee the day-to-day management of the company's e-commerce website.
- Ensure the website is user-friendly, visually appealing, and optimized for search engines.
Product Management:
- Coordinate product listings, descriptions, and images to maximize sales potential.
- Implement effective merchandising strategies and promotions to drive product visibility.
Customer Experience:
- Monitor and enhance the online customer experience to increase customer satisfaction and retention.
- Implement user-friendly navigation, intuitive design, and responsive customer service.
Digital Marketing:
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute digital marketing campaigns.
- Utilize SEO, SEM, email marketing, and social media to drive traffic and sales.
Analytics and Reporting:
- Utilize analytics tools to track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Make data-driven decisions to optimize the online shopping experience.
Inventory Management:
- Coordinate with the inventory and logistics teams to ensure accurate product availability.
- Implement inventory control measures to prevent stockouts or overstock situations.
Technology Integration:
- Stay abreast of e-commerce trends and emerging technologies.
- Evaluate and implement new tools, platforms, or features to enhance the e-commerce platform.
Collaboration:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, IT, and customer service, to ensure seamless operations.
- Communicate effectively with vendors and external partners.
Marketplace Management:
- Oversee the presence and performance of the company's products on third-party e-commerce marketplaces (e.g., Amazon, Noon, Dubai Store, etc).
- Develop and execute strategies to optimize product listings, pricing, and promotional activities on external platforms.
- Monitor and manage customer reviews and ratings to maintain a positive brand image.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven minimum 5 Years of experience in e-commerce and marketplace management, preferably in a similar industry.
- Strong understanding of online consumer behavior, market trends, and third-party marketplace dynamics.
- Proficient in e-commerce platforms, CMS, and analytics tools, including experience with third-party marketplaces.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
- Familiarity with digital marketing strategies and techniques.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
