Education Counsellor

Description:

Edutech is searching for an Educational Consultant who understands what the 360 degree process from recruiting students for admissions, to helping guide the student toward the right school, the right programs, and the right career based on the student's educational interests and goals.

Responsibilities

Manage sourcing and recruitment of students, locally and internationally

Maintain and grow a database of eligible and qualified students

Promote universities courses for incoming exchange and study abroad students.

Maintain admission procedures.

Ensure potential student is qualified through admissions criteria.

To prepare files for new applicants, make sure all documentation is included.

To respond promptly to a large volume of incoming enquiries both via email and telephone about the institution, its programmes, and the admission process.

Ensure accurate information by the clients with respect to the required documents.

Correspond with applicants throughout the admission process to complete their application files and ensure all documentation is collected.

Qualifications

Technical problem solving, communication, critical thinking, and analytical skills.

Have a network of students and applicants

Excellent attention to details

Proven work experience as an Study Abroad Adivsor/Educational Consultant

Excellent communication and presentation skills

Very Proactive

Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs
