Electrical Engineer

Description:

As the Electrical Engineer at Dakos Technical Services, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, maintenance, managing HVAC systems in various commercial and residential projects, and the Electrical works.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC system design, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting, along with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the electrical engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

Designing, installing, and maintaining heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in accordance with project specifications and local regulations.

Preparing and reviewing engineering designs, specifications, and project schedules for HVAC systems.

Conducting load calculations and energy efficiency studies for optimal system performance.

Overseeing installation and commissioning of HVAC systems to ensure adherence to safety and compliance standards.

Liaising with clients, architects, and contractors to meet project requirements.

Troubleshooting and diagnosing HVAC system malfunctions, implementing effective solutions.

Conducting regular inspections and maintenance checks to ensure system reliability and efficiency.

Assisting with cost estimation, BOQ preparation, and procurement activities.

Managing multiple HVAC projects concurrently, ensuring quality control and timely project completion.

Installing, designing, and maintenance of electrical works in the fit-out projects.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (Master’s degree preferred).

DEWA and DM approval (required).

Minimum 6 years of experience in the UAE in HVAC design, installation, and maintenance, along with experience in the Electrical fit-out projects.

Strong knowledge of HVAC software (AutoCAD, Revit, or similar) for design and simulation.

Expertise in local authority standards (DEWA, DCD, DM).

Valid UAE driver’s license (required).

Requirements:

Strong problem-solving skills and technical knowledge of HVAC systems.

Hands-on experience with HVAC system installation, inspection, and maintenance.

Proficiency in CAD software and other industry-related tools.

Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects.

Excellent communication and leadership skills.
