Engineer

Description:

As a Level 2 Engineer, you will play a critical role in maintaining and optimising our clients’ networking, server, storage, firewall, and access point systems. You will troubleshoot complex technical issues, implement solutions, and collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide advanced technical support for networking, servers, storage systems, firewalls, and access points.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to network connectivity, system performance, and security.

Assist in the configuration and maintenance of network devices and servers.

Monitor system performance and implement enhancements as needed.

Collaborate with Level 1 support to escalate and resolve issues efficiently.

Document technical processes and maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry best practices.

Participate in on-call rotation and respond to urgent technical issues as needed.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

Proven experience in a Level 2 support role or similar position.
