Job Scope:

Equipment Setup and Operation:
 

  • Assist in the setup and teardown of audio, lighting, and visual equipment according to production requirements.
  • Able to assist with the technical equipment set up and tear down during rehearsals and live performances, including soundboards, lighting consoles, and special effects devices.
     

Stage Support:
 

  • Work closely with stage managers, directors, and fellow technicians to ensure smooth scene transitions and set changes.
  • Safely move props, scenery, and equipment on and off the stage during performances.
     

Maintenance and Repairs:
 

  • Perform routine checks and maintenance on technical equipment and report Entertainment Technical of any concern to ensure optimal performance.
  • Assist in troubleshooting and addressing technical issues as they arise, both during rehearsals and live shows.
     

Safety and Compliance:
 

  • Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to protect the well-being of the cast, crew, and performers.
  • Safely handle and store equipment, props, and materials in accordance with safety standards.
     

Communication:
 

  • Maintain effective communication with production teams, stage managers, and other crew members.
  • Follow cues and instructions accurately to ensure precise timing during performances.
     

Equipment Inventory:
 

  • Assist tracking of technical equipment and supplies inventory, report any shortages or damages to supervisors.
  • Assist with the loading and unloading of equipment for transportation to and from venues.
     

Essentials:
 

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Good spoken English
  • Good understanding of English
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in live event production
  • Communication: The ability to convey ideas, information, and thoughts clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing. Good communication skills include active listening, articulation, and non-verbal communication.
  • Teamwork: The capacity to collaborate and work harmoniously with others to achieve common goals. This involves respecting diverse perspectives, sharing responsibilities, and contributing to a cohesive team dynamic.
