Are you looking for an exciting change in your career and location? I have an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to relocate from the UK to Dubai as an Events Manager, you will take charge of all planning and organisation for a variety of client events of varied sizes and audience.
Your responsibilities in the role
- Brainstorming and implementing event plans and concepts
- Responsible for planning and coordination of events
- Must maintain a strong telephone manner
- Manage multiple tasks at once in an organised fashion
- Create and manage detailed event schedules with clear timelines
- Co-ordinate with vendors, contractors and other stakeholders ensure on time completion of tasks and smooth event execution
- Coordinate with our other in-house teams where required to effectively execute events
- For every event, ensure that the experience curation brief is understood
- Develop activation ideas and propose new concepts to assist with business development
- Ensure PR, Marketing and pre-event promotion is executed thoroughly
- Manage the budgets and payment schedules. This includes negotiating with vendors and ensuring that all expenses are within the allocated budget
- Liaising and negotiating with vendors
- Handling logistics including transportation, accommodation, catering and equipment
- Updating senior management regularly on project status
- Obtaining permits
- Ensuring the required insurance is in place always
- Handling post-event reports including post event evaluation, analysis and identifying areas for improvement
- If and when any planned project elements become at risk, pivot to alternative solutions
- Bidding for projects
- On-site event management when required. Ensure smooth execution of the event
- Supporting project managers on site when required
- Complete production process documentation
- Project administration as required
- Project P&Ls and scheduling
- Handling client enquiries
- Completing pitch decks
