Description:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Executive Sous Chef to join our Group Catering Services team. The ideal candidate will bring exceptional culinary skills, leadership capabilities, and a passion for delivering high-quality dining experiences to diverse groups and events.

Responsibilities:
Menu Development and Innovation:
- Collaborate with the Executive Chef to create innovative and diverse menus that cater to a variety of tastes and dietary preferences.
- Ensure the culinary offerings align with the overall vision and brand of the Group Catering Services.
Culinary Team Management:
- Lead and mentor a team of sous chefs, chefs de partie, and kitchen staff.
- Foster a collaborative and positive work environment, promoting creativity and continuous improvement.
Quality Control:
- Oversee food preparation and presentation to maintain high standards of quality and consistency.
- Conduct regular tastings and inspections to ensure all dishes meet the established standards.
Event Coordination:
- Work closely with the catering and event planning teams to understand client requirements and tailor menus accordingly.
- Ensure seamless execution of catering services for events of varying sizes and styles.
Budget Management:
- Collaborate with the Executive Chef and other stakeholders to develop and manage budgets for the culinary department.
- Monitor food costs, wastage, and inventory to optimize financial performance.
Compliance and Safety:
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
- Implement and enforce health and safety protocols in the kitchen.
Training and Development:
- Conduct training sessions for kitchen staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Stay updated on industry trends and share insights with the team.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar leadership role within the catering industry.
- Culinary degree or equivalent certification.
- Strong culinary and creative skills with a focus on presentation and attention to detail.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Knowledge of current culinary trends and a commitment to continuous improvement.
