Facade Designer

Description:

🌟 Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with architects, engineers, and clients to develop innovative facade designs that meet project requirements and align with sustainability goals.

Produce detailed technical drawings and 3D models of facade systems, materials, and finishes.

Conduct material research and testing to ensure performance, durability, and energy efficiency of facade systems.

Review and provide feedback on project specifications and architectural designs to ensure feasibility and compliance with building codes.

Assist in selecting appropriate facade systems, including glazing, cladding, and insulation.

Participate in design reviews and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to resolve technical challenges.

Stay up-to-date with industry trends, new materials, and emerging technologies in facade design.

Provide support during the construction phase, including site visits, detailing, and troubleshooting.

🌟 Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field.

Proven experience (4+ years) in facade design or a similar architectural design role.

Strong proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, Rhino, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.).

Knowledge of facade materials, systems, and construction methods.
