We are looking for Tax & Compliance specialist with experience of minimum 10 years in related field

  • Job Purpose: - To accomplish the company objectives by following a systematic & disciplined approach, evaluate and recommend improvement to existing processes & controls, prepare & submit timely reports for action.
  • Responsibilities:
  • Handle the complete day-to-day Accounting and Finance operations within the company/group companies.
  • Ensure transactions are recorded and posted regularly on a real-time basis.
  • Handle the Accounts Payable and Receivable operations.
  • Ensure monthly reconciliation of Vendor, Customer, and Intercompany and GL accounts.
  • Ensure timely settlement of Vendor invoices in line with the cash forecast.
  • Monitor customer movement and flag collection delays for action.
  • Handle banking operations, prepare bank reconciliation and ensure reconciliation items are cleared immediately.
  • Ensure timely closing of the books of accounts every month.
  • Handle statutory audit of the company, ensure timely completion of audit and submission of audit report.
  • Respond to queries from internal auditor, provide support, and implement recommendations to improve systems & controls.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies & procedures.
  • Liaise with in-house and external tax & compliance personnel, promptly respond to the requirements to ensure timely submission of returns.
  • Prepare MIS reports as per the reporting calendar.
  • Present recommendations on process improvements, control implementation and streamlining systems.
  • Perform other related duties as necessary or assigned by CFO, GFC, Chief Accountant.
  • Team player with good communication, problem solving, presentation, and time management skills.
  • Attention to detail with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Ability to build relationships with internal & external stakeholders, prioritize, work independently with minimal supervision, manage expectations, and deliver results.
  • Good judgmental skills, professional & credible, discreet.
  • Strong MS office and ERP skills, preferably BI reporting also

 

  • Master’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field. CMA is preferred.
  • 7-10 years of experience of handling the overall Finance & Accounting function of a medium sized organization.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English (mandatory).
