Finance Manager Required
Summary: The Finance Manager is primarily located in the Dubai corporate offices in the UAE with travel to other areas of the SKA operations. The position will report to the CFO and work closely with the Chief Accountant. You will oversee the Treasury function, and provide business support and financial analysis to our company. You will regularly interface across all functional organizations, as well as with senior management. Ideal candidates will be action-oriented and enjoy a fast-paced atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities:
- The Finance Manager will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
- Manage and oversee the Treasury function, including daily transactional banking operations, credit facilities, and cash.
- Income and Expense Forecasting: Provide accurate monthly cash flow forecast and updates. Liaise extensively with the key members of the organization to develop forecasts.
- Improve and implement KPIs relating to Treasury operations and cash management.
- Budgeting: participate in the annual budgeting process.
- Variance Analysis: Analyze variances between actual and forecasted/budgeted cash flow numbers.
- Perform financial analysis and report to management as needed.
- Strategic/tactical ad-hoc finance projects as required.
Qualification / Education Level:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Business, Accounting degree from a recognized university, or equivalent experience in a finance office.
- A professionally qualified Financial or Management Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA).
- Experience working in a similar position within the international fuel supply or logistics sector.
- Experience working in frontier markets, especially Africa, and the Middle East.
Special Skills, if any:
- Must be comfortable working with Senior Management.
- Sound commercial understanding, P&L and risk management skills.
- Have the ability to manage complex, multi-work team opportunities.
- Solid understanding and implementation of governance procedures.
- Advanced MS Word skills & proficient in MS Office
- 10+ years of relevant experience.
