Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day financial operations of the company.
- Manage and maintain accurate financial records in compliance with UAE accounting standards.
- Prepare financial statements, reports, and budgets.
- Perform month-end and year-end closings.
- Lead and supervise a team of junior accountants.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, and expenses.
- Collaborate with internal departments to provide financial insights and support decision-making.
- Stay up to date with UAE tax regulations and compliance requirements.
- Implement and maintain effective internal controls.
Skills & Experience Required:
- Minimum 7 years of accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a senior or supervisory role in the UAE.
- Minimum 3 years experience in Engineering / Contracting / MEP Companies.
- CBA certification is a plus.
- Proficiency in UAE accounting standards and regulations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong leadership and managerial capabilities.
