Role Description:

Our client seeks for a Financial Controller to enrich their dynamic finance unit. This pivotal role demands an individual who will serve as the bedrock for upholding the integrity, precision, and confidentiality of the organisation’s financial data.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Mastery & Assurance: Oversee and manage the entire spectrum of company accounts and investments. Uphold stringent standards for the punctuality and accuracy of financial statements spanning monthly, quarterly, and annual timelines.
• Comprehensive Reporting: Curate detailed financial reports monthly, quarterly, and annually. Seamlessly liaise with external auditing entities for the annual review process.
• Proactive Budgeting & Insightful Forecasting: Champion the annual financial planning and budgeting exercises. Acutely assess and dissect monthly operational outcomes in contrast to the budget.
• Regulation & Conformity Oversight: Guarantee adherence to local and international financial mandates and norms. Stay abreast of, and integrate organisational directives, national and international policies, and contemporary accounting benchmarks into operations.

Desired Candidate Profile:

• Educational Pinnacle: A Master’s in Accounting, Finance, or an allied discipline.
• Certified Excellence: Professional accreditations in accounting, exemplified by ACA, ACCA, CMA, or CPA.
• Seasoned Acumen: A solid track record with at least a decade of experience in escalating financial or accounting responsibilities. Experience in the investment realm is highly regarded.
• Technical Proficiency: Mastery of leading accounting software tools complemented by advanced expertise in Excel functionalities.
