Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced FMCG Manager with a strong technical background, particularly within the Food and Beverage (F&B) Value Chain for one of our esteemed clients Dubai. The ideal candidate will have expertise in the upstream, midstream, and downstream functions of the F&B Value Chain, with a specific focus on dry food items such as grains and wheat.
Key Responsibilities
Up-stream Function (20%)
- Utilize expertise in food production, specializing in dry food items such as grains and wheat.
- Oversee and manage the upstream processes within the F&B Value Chain.
Mid-stream Function (20%)
- Supervise and manage the mid-stream processes related to the processing of dry food items, including grains and wheat.
- Ensure efficient and effective processing of raw materials to meet quality standards.
Downstream Function (60%)
- Leverage a strong technical and commercial background to manage and execute downstream functions within the F&B Value Chain.
- Commercialize upstream production facilities belonging to the Group.
- Match market needs with the consumer demand for food items processed by the manufacturing facilities within the Group.
- Act as an enabler for the sales teams, supporting them in exploring new business opportunities to increase sales volume.
- Identify potential market sales channels, analyze competition, and propose effective sales strategy plans for expansion and development to achieve targeted Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; advanced degree preferred.
- Proven experience in the upstream, midstream, and downstream functions of the F&B Value Chain.
- Technical expertise in food production, with a focus on dry food items.
- Strong commercial acumen and business development skills.
- Excellent understanding of market dynamics and consumer behaviour in the FMCG sector.
- Proven track record of successfully commercializing production facilities and increasing sales volume.
- Ability to analyze competition, identify market trends, and develop effective sales strategies.
