Description:
This is a role intended to Implement the Development of new concepts in a new business, geographically far from central management and quite different from the current parks' operations. So, we'll need skilled professionals willing to relocate to a new location when the project begins.
- To support the Commercial Director in running the department.
- To lead and manage the food and beverage department
- To implement and execute the set strategies to achieve the EBITDA targets
- To review financial reports and statements to monitor departmental performance against budgets.
- Work with the food and beverage leadership team to determine areas of concern and develop strategies to improve the department's financial performance.
- To establish challenging, realistic, and obtainable goals for the department and colleagues
- To implement and monitor the standard operating procedures for the department
- To maintain a safe and healthy working environment that is compliant with local regulations (ADAFSA) and international (HACCP) best practices
- To design efficient measures to ensure prompt, accurate, and personalized service to all guests to achieve high guest satisfaction levels
- To recruit, train, and develop a team that passionately delivers guest service excellence
- To monitor food and beverage operational, food safety, and hygiene reports to be updated on the daily events in the department
- To communicate new or amended procedures within the department to keep the outlets updated with changes
- To conduct performance appraisals for direct reports and ensure follow-up and creation of development plans.
- To attend company learning and development programs and training
- To plan and organize internal and external special events to contribute to the success of the company
- To manage emergencies that may arise to minimize possible damage, loss, or injury to any guests, colleagues, or company property
- To help achieve departmental and company objectives, action plans, and key performance indicators
- To ensure efficient management of the food and beverage colleagues, including on and off-the-job training, daily attendance, grooming, coaching, appraisals, and personal development plans.
- To communicate relevant information with colleagues to improve internal communication within the department and company
- To motivate colleagues through the effective implementation of incentive and recognition and rewards program
- To enforce and adhere to all UAE laws, health, safety & environmental policies, industry, and company rules and regulations, report any safety concerns or incidents to management to minimize risk, and maintain a clean, hygienic environment for all guests and colleagues.
- Provide a clear guide of the role's core job activities/nature.
To be considered for this role, you will need to have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Hotel and Management or equivalent
- Food Hygiene and HACCP Certification
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Food and Beverage operation or related professional area in a managerial role
- Computer and Microsoft Office knowledge and good level of English language
- Excellent verbal communication and organizational skills
- Possess good leadership, customer service, and motivational skills...

- Good analytical thinking and Problem-solving and Knowledge of food and beverage operations
