Frontend Developer

 

Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Frontend Engineer with deep expertise in building universal web and mobile applications. You will be the sole person responsible for developing a Universal App using the Tamagui monorepo starter, enabling shared components between the NextJS and Expo applications. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with the required tech stack and a strong understanding of modern frontend development practices.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

• Architect & Develop: Design and implement scalable and maintainable frontend architecture for a universal web and mobile app, leveraging the Tamagui monorepo starter.

• Cross-platform Components: Develop and maintain reusable components that work seamlessly across both NextJS (web) and Expo (mobile) platforms.

• CI/CD & Deployment: Take full ownership of the continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for both web and mobile applications. Automate testing, build processes, and deployment workflows to ensure smooth and reliable releases.

• End-to-End Responsibility: Oversee the entire lifecycle of the frontend applications—from coding and testing to deployment and monitoring. Ensure high availability and performance of the applications in production environments.

• Collaboration: Work closely with backend engineers, designers, and product managers to deliver a cohesive and user-friendly experience.

• Optimization: Optimize application performance and ensure smooth user experiences on both web and mobile platforms.

• Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code. Conduct code reviews and provide mentorship to junior developers.

• Innovation: Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in frontend development, particularly in the Web3 space, and bring fresh ideas to the table.

 

Required Skills & Experience:

 

• Frontend Expertise: 5+ years of experience in frontend development, with a focus on building high-quality, scalable applications.

 

Tech Stack Proficiency:

 

• Turbo Monorepo: Experience working with monorepos and understanding of the Turbo framework.

• TypeScript: Deep expertise in TypeScript for building robust and type-safe applications across both web and mobile platforms.

• React Native & Expo: Extensive experience in developing mobile applications using React Native and Expo.

• Tamagui: Proficient in using Tamagui for building cross-platform UI components.

• NextJS: Strong experience with NextJS for server-side rendering and building performant web applications.

• Tanstack: Familiarity with the Tanstack query library for data fetching, caching, and synchronization.

• State Management: Proficient with Zustand for managing application state in a scalable way.

• Web3 Knowledge: Familiarity with Web3 technologies and their application in modern web and mobile apps.

• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions.

• Communication: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a remote team environment.

 

 

Nice-to-Have:

 

• Experience with blockchain technologies and smart contract integration.

• Prior experience in the event ticketing or e-commerce industries.
