Description:
We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Fundraising and Sponsorships Manager to lead our fundraising activities and develop strong partnerships with the sponsors’ base. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in fundraising and sponsorship, excellent communication skills, and a deep commitment to our mission.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy to secure funding from a variety of sources, including grants, individual donors, corporate sponsors, and foundations.
- Research and identify potential donors and sponsors and build and maintain strong relationships with them.
- Meet quarterly goals and annual fundraising and sponsorship targets.
- Research potential benefactors, craft compelling proposals, presentations, and other materials to attract and secure funding.
- Develop and implement fundraising and sponsorship programs, including recruiting sponsors and maintaining relationships with current sponsors.
- Work closely with the marketing and communications team to promote fundraising initiatives and attract sponsors.
- Manage the administration of donations and sponsorships, ensuring accurate record-keeping and that all contractual agreements are met.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment of fundraising efforts with the company’s goals and projects.
- Provide regular updates and reports on fundraising progress to the line manager and leadership team.
- Store and organize sponsor data using a CRM system to track interactions, workflows and generate reports.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in fundraising and sponsorships in the UAE, preferably in the non-profit or sustainability sectors.
- Strong existing network/portfolio of contacts and relationships with donors and corporate sponsors.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, persuasion, and presentation skills.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Proficiency in HubSpot CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Demonstrated "can do" attitude and proactive approach to tasks, with willingness to take initiative, identify opportunities for improvement, and contribute innovative ideas to enhance sponsorship function.
