We are looking for a Furniture Designer with a broad set of competences within furniture/interior/product design. Someone who is passionate about Scandinavian/minimalist design and wants to share it with the world.

As our Furniture Designer, you will get the opportunity to be employee number 21 with accompanying influence on the strategic direction, product customization and content creation. You will be supported by a design team of three and the two founders who have 13 years of experience within architecture and design.

Role Description

• This is a full-time on-site role for a Furniture Designer at MUTE : acoustics in Dubai. The Furniture Designer will be responsible for designing and creating furniture pieces that incorporate acoustical properties, as well as collaborating with the interior design team to ensure seamless integration of the furniture with the overall design concept. The Furniture Designer will also work closely with carpenters and other professionals to bring the designs to life and ensure high-quality craftsmanship.

Qualifications

• Furniture Design and Product Design skills
• Experience in Carpentry and Furniture making
• Knowledge of Interior Design principles
• Proficiency in relevant design software and tools
• Creative problem-solving abilities
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Experience in acoustics or related field is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Furniture Design, Interior Design, or related field
• Proficiency in Rhino3D or similar.
• Experience using Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator.
• Experience in industry minimum 3 years.
• Excellent English.
