Zawyeh Gallery, Dubai, is seeking a rigorous and reliable team player for a Gallery Receptionist. The ideal candidate will be eminently organized, have great writing and interpersonal skills, and experienced with the ability to be detailed oriented in a fast-paced work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests.
- Provide gallery tours for individuals and groups.
- Create offers, certificates, invoices, and labels.
- Manage and update inventory and database.
- Managing and packing orders.
- Book shipments and update shipping status.
- Handling queries via phone, email, and general correspondence
- Aid with administrative and creative tasks.
- Ensure reception and visitors' areas are tidy, clean, and presentable.
- Keep updated records of office expenses and cash flow.
- Administrative duties include filing, copying, and ordering supplies.
- Managing orders with suppliers and clients.
Job Requirements:
- Excellent writing skills.
- Experience in customer service
- Professional attitude and appearance.
- Solid written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills with strong attention to detail.
- Maintain high tidiness and personal hygiene.
- Proficient with Mac software
- Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise.
- Ability to work under pressure and extra hours when required
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and tasks
- Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role
- Familiarity with the art industry and knowledge of art history is preferred
