Job Description:

1. Study, Analyse, Improvise, and translate the business requirements into

GIS Solutions.

2. Provide consultancy to business users to enhance GIS services as per

industry standards.

3. Communicate with vendors for software purchase, contract negotiation,

AMCs, etc.

4. Study & evaluate the change requests during the software development

lifecycle validating and refining of the overall solution.

5. Design, Develop, & Administer the Geo-database, including inputting and correcting data, determining format,

researching data conversions, establishing data specifications, updating sources and ensuring data integrity.

6. Convert Spatial Data to the Geo-database format, applying additional knowledge of spatial feature

representations.

7. Designs special map and digital products as assigned, utilizing knowledge of GIS data and required GIS skills.

8. Customize the GIS software to facilitate ease of use.

9. Deploy the application to an operational working stage.

10. Demonstrate understanding and execution of the projects, as well as providing the team/management with

feedback on consulting engagements.

11. Prepare reports, manuals and other documentation on the status, operation and maintenance of software.

12. Build the Geographic Information Systems (GIS) concept design / scope of work.

13. Manage the Implementation, Administration, & support of Geographic Information Systems and solutions.

14. Define procedures and controls based on the NK IT software development standards.
