Government Relations Officer

 

Description:

  • Provide all type of visas (employment/mission/family/visit/domestic) as and when required by the Group companies/directors in accordance with P&C Policy and procedures.
  • Responsible for all renewals & cancellation.
  • Arrange visa cancellation or legal steps to clear records of ex-employees without delay to avoid legal risk to the Group due to the imposition of overstay fines.
  • Validate Expenses and ensure funds availability.
  • Provide all type of work permits (permanent, temporary, guardian, mission).
  • Provide LC Renewals on time.
  • Facilitate TAWJEEH lectures for semi-skilled and unskilled workers within the given time frame to facilitate the issuance & renewals of Labor Cards.
  • Validate Expenses and ensure funds availability.
  • Ensure establishment information is updated on time.
  • Ensuring that all medical test conducted within the allowed time frame.
  • Updating the system throughout process.
  • Always try to find the best convenient centre to BUs to ensure efficiency.
  • Validate Expenses and ensure funds availability.
  • Looking after EID typing services (new & renewals)
  • Validate Expenses and ensure funds availability.
  • Pension registration/Cancellation of all GCC Nationals.
  • Build strong connections with the Government Entities.
  • Communicate changes made with Labor and Immigration regulations and procedures.
  • Manage to deal and work with different systems to provide an equal service to all Stakeholders.
  • Coordinate cancellation of Office & IT accesses.
  • Coordinate visa cancellation process.
  • Coordinate medical insurance cancellation for employee & family.
  • Coordinate with payroll End of Service calculations.
  • Follow up on the Final EOS Payment (Bank Transfer).
  • Issue employment certificate.
  • Repatriation (where applicable).
  • Monthly Leavers Report to payroll.
  • Addressing the employee grievances.
  • Resolving the concerns of the employees that may affect their performance at the workplace.
  • Providing professional counseling, developing action plans to motivate and build the morale of the employees.
  • Strengthening the employee and employer working relationship to help in the growth of the organization through better service delivery.
  • Streamline existing P&C processes by identifying uses of systems & applications to improve value added business performance & output.
  • Identify new business revenue / cost saving initiatives specifically in employee relations vertical.
  • Enhance on-boarding experience and reduce on-boarding time.
  • Enhance off-boarding experience by reducing off-boarding time.
  • Monitor service delivery and follow with “Continuous Improvement Process”.
