Description:
Corporate F&B Graphic Design Manager’s role is to lead the identity design and re-design of operating and new F&B venues and points of sales.
The function is to ensure that all visual concepts created for F&B Venues and Points of Sales are inspirational, informative, and captivating, in line with restaurant industry standards, in order to enhance sales by delivering memorable experiences.
They will deliver on-brand creative artwork, respecting IP and Theming and F&B Venue’s Storyline.
Artwork is inclusive of Name, Logo, Menus, Collaterals, Disposables, Games, Giveaways, Packaging, Signages.
Artwork is to be adaptable when and where needed to various mediums: On-Device, Digital, Print, social media, etc.
Job Scope:
F&B Identity Creation
- Create, Update, Adapt F&B Units’s Identity (Contribute to Storyline creation, visual, tone, colors palette)
- Review incoming briefs, assists in the identification of the communication needs and develop a creative solution to address those needs.
- Align with unit’s realm IP and Theming and Interior Design
- Ensure new/updated identity is in relation to Storyline
- Create Scope of Work for Service Providers, and coordinate their deliverables (Creative Agencies, Digital (Showtech, DTD), Internal Stakeholders (Creative Studio of MD)
- The role also entails the creative stewardship of the brand and the innovation in creative solutions to reflect the brand’s core values.
F&B Graphic Design Management
- Update content and layout of menus, collaterals, promotional material of F&B venues and points of sale
- Coordinate with Parks’ F&B Ops to be the single point of contact organizing and distributing requests for Marketing collaterals (Promotional collateral, Menus & Seasonal Menus, New Offering: adapting the menus, layouts, etc., New Menus: re-designing where needed)
- Create and communicate briefs to internal Design Studio (MD)
- Brief: external Service Providers and internal stakeholders (Photography & food styling, Signage/Scenic, Design, Uniform design)
- Managing professional relationships with above mentioned stakeholders (external and internal)
- Contribute to Graphic Design Budget planning
- Translation, Copywriting in Arabic and English
- Translation management to other languages where required
- Advise on production process of creative solutions, set specifications and review materials
Administrative
- Coordinate with Procurement when required (SOW and adequate briefing, Documentation, Requests, Assessments, Scope explanations, site visits, etc.)
- Manage the Creative budgets of BIO F&B
- Ensure Quality Assurance requirements are met
- Ensure Collateral Design, including menus, is completed according to each park’s SOP, involving Brand Principals when required, and obtaining all necessary approvals
- Support Quality Assurance in Menus and Collateral periodic assessment, and making actionable recommendations to correct issues reported
- Support the BIO Department in Monthly, Quarterly and Yearly Reports presentations
