Graphic Designer / Brand Merchandise Development

Looking for a graphic designer to work with for a long term period, initially 4-5 months full time on one project.

The project involves the development of UAE cultural brand merchandise (so refining the brand identity, production collection, and product design and development, product spec sheets, seeking out and following up with manufacturers, product pricing etc and the creation of a product catalogue. The products will involve apparel items, as well typical gifting items (notebooks, keychains etc). The aim is to have 3 capsule collections sampled and in production.

The program is fast track so the graphic / product designer must be committed, creative, have knowledge of typology and design principles combined with a mastery of design software (specifically adobe creative), a good communicator, is organised and can meet set deadlines, and most importantly someone who has a passion for the project and development of cultural gifts.

The client has a minimal, timeless aesthetic with a focus on quality.

The designer can work remotely (but must be UAE based) and be able to travel to Abu Dhabi for set workshops (these will be pre-determined and not likely to be often)

You would work under the guidance of a director but must be able to work independently and would have direct communication with the client. We are a small transparent team who work hard but also want to work smart.

We are ideally looking for someone who has done this type of work before. Years of experience are not as important as finding someone who has the right type of experience and is committed to excellence (and is also a lovely person that we want to spend time with!)
