Head Chef

 

Description:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Head Chef to join our dynamic team at Chokhi Dhani in Dubai. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen operations, ensuring the delivery of high-quality culinary experiences that exceed our guests' expectations.

 

Responsibilities:

· Menu Development: Develop innovative and enticing menus that reflect culinary trends, local tastes, and seasonal ingredients while aligning with the restaurant's concept and vision.

· Food Preparation: Lead and supervise food preparation activities, including but not limited to ingredient sourcing, recipe standardization, cooking techniques, and presentation to ensure consistency and excellence in taste and appearance.

· Kitchen Management: Manage and mentor kitchen staff, including chefs, cooks, and kitchen assistants, by providing guidance, training, and performance feedback to maintain a motivated and skilled team.

· Quality Control: Implement rigorous quality control measures to uphold food safety standards, hygiene regulations, and adherence to recipes, ensuring all dishes meet the highest standards of taste, texture, and presentation.

· Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels, ordering, and stock rotation to minimize waste, control costs, and ensure optimal utilization of ingredients while maintaining adequate supplies for daily operations.

· Cost Management: Develop and manage budgets for the kitchen department, controlling expenses related to food, labor, equipment, and supplies to achieve financial targets without compromising on quality.

· Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the restaurant management team, including the General Manager and Front-of-House staff, to coordinate seamless service and address any operational challenges or guest feedback promptly.

· Culinary Creativity: Stay abreast of culinary trends, techniques, and innovations, continuously seeking opportunities to elevate the restaurant's offerings and differentiate it within the competitive landscape.

· Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including health and safety standards, food handling guidelines, and licensing requirements, to maintain the restaurant's reputation and legal standing.

· Customer Satisfaction: Foster a culture of exceptional customer service among kitchen staff, promoting a guest-centric approach and responding effectively to guest inquiries, feedback, and special requests.
