About the Role: Our client is seeking an experienced and dynamic Head Chef to lead their culinary operations for a multicuisine setup in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing large-scale kitchen operations, with a focus on quantity food kitchen management. This role requires someone currently based in Dubai with extensive experience in leading a diverse culinary team and ensuring high standards of food quality, safety, and service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of the kitchen operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and inventory management.
- Lead, train, and mentor a diverse team of chefs and kitchen staff, ensuring consistent quality and efficiency.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for kitchen operations to ensure smooth and efficient service.
- Manage kitchen budgets, control food costs, and minimize waste while maintaining high standards.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen.
- Collaborate with suppliers to source high-quality ingredients at competitive prices.
- Innovate and introduce new dishes to keep the menu fresh and exciting while maintaining consistency in quality and presentation.
- Monitor customer satisfaction and adjust menus or processes as needed to meet customer preferences and feedback.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Head Chef in a large, high-volume kitchen setup.
- Strong knowledge of multicuisine operations and expertise in quantity food kitchen management.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices in kitchen operations.
- Culinary degree or equivalent professional experience is preferred.
