Description:
The Head of Branding for EU is a key strategic leadership role within the Eastern and Western European Automotive Aftermarket organization This role is responsible for shaping the growth strategies for the European Automotive Aftermarket brands of MANN-FILTER, FILTRON and WIX Filters. This individual would oversee the branding and communications team and focus on the accountability of the marketability of our regional brand properties.
Main tasks:
- Develop brand positioning and growth strategies in Europe along with the Director Product Marketing and SVP of Global Brands and Customer Experience
- Drive development of customer and consumer insights to build growth strategies and innovation pipeline.
- Develop and execute annual marketing plans and zero-based budgets based on established regional business objectives and manage that budget throughout the calendar year. Perform within budget while achieving key performance indicators
- Drive marketing programs inseparably with product managers and category managers (business development/research professionals)
- Build a strong working relationship with field sales professionals, customer headquarter contacts, cross-functional contacts, distributors
- Drive profitable demand for brands and branded programs by evaluating market trends, our product portfolio and developing tools to educate the customer and sales team on trends that will affect current and future growth of sales and profitability
- Maximize impact of brand advertising activities to include brand position, strategy, sponsorships, licensing agreements, contracts, mobile marketing, and hospitality assets
Requirements
- Around 10 years’ experience in marketing and brand management, executing strategic marketing plans designed for business growth incl. experience in defining brand strategies with global brands Experience in the automotive or automotive aftermarket business will be additional asset
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or other related field. MBA is a plus.Brand strategic leadership with ability to resolve complex brand challenges into actionable, sustainable and prosperous programs.
- Track record of developing, executing, and achieving tactical and strategic initiatives through active leadership that positively impact global business plans, operating profits, practices, policies, and procedures.
- Strong budget and project management skills, Analytical, strategic and structured approach
- Working in highly matrixed organization and ability to inspire and lead cross-functional teams.
- English business fluent in written and spoken
- Excellent communication skills and relationship building skills, at all levels of the organization
