About the Role: We are seeking an innovative Head of Group Communications for our prestige Al Ghurair Investments brand. You'll lead a dynamic team, who are responsible all things communication inclusive of Internal and External Communications, Crisis Managment, Media Relations, Governance Processes, Brand Usage and more.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Shape and implement the Al Ghurair Communications Strategy, ensuring brand consistency.
- Brand Management: Oversee the brand refresh program, governance processes, and brand usage.
- Media Relations: Manage press relations, media strategies, and training for C-suite executives.
- Thought Leadership: Develop industry-leading content and provide strategic counsel.
- Crisis Communications: Execute crisis communication strategies and maintain consistent messaging.
- Internal Communications: Build and manage effective internal communication channels.
- Digital Marketing: Oversee digital platforms, website rebuild, and new channel development.
- Social Media: Develop and manage comprehensive social media strategies and campaigns.
- Events: Lead corporate and internal event strategies, ensuring brand alignment.
- Vendor & Budget Management: Manage vendors and oversee the communications budget.
- Analysis & Reporting: Track performance metrics and adjust strategies accordingly.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s in Communications, PR, Marketing, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Membership in CIPR or CIM; Project Management qualification is a plus.
- 15+ years in communication within large, diversified companies.
- Strong crisis management and public affairs experience.
- Proven ability to build and lead Corporate Communications functions.
