Description:
The Head of Real Estate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company's real estate portfolio, with a primary focus on facility management (70%) and real estate development (30%). This role requires a local Emirati with a strong background in managing and developing real estate assets, ensuring operational efficiency, and maximizing property value. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Facility Management (70%):
- Oversee the management and maintenance of all company-owned and leased properties.
- Develop and implement facility management policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Manage relationships with service providers and contractors to ensure high standards of maintenance and service delivery.
- Monitor and control facility management budgets and expenses.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits of facilities to identify and address issues promptly.
- Implement energy-efficient and sustainable practices in facility management.
Real Estate Development (30%):
- Identify and evaluate potential real estate development opportunities.
- Conduct feasibility studies and market analysis for new projects.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to develop project plans and designs.
- Obtain necessary permits and approvals for development projects.
- Oversee the construction and development process to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Develop and manage project budgets and timelines.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and standards for all development projects.
Qualifications:
- Must be a local Emirati.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in real estate management and development.
- Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of facility management practices and principles.
- Experience in real estate development, including project management and construction oversight.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and facility management software.
