Description:
You will work with in partnership with our overseas offices & our colleagues in B2B Marketing to negotiate, plan and execute measurable joint marketing plans that drive ROI or meet certain KPIs, acquiring new customers, growing our distribution, and maximizing revenue for the destination whether through the sale of hotel packages that include theme park tickets or theme park tickets alone. The individual should have the dedication to create and apply effective leisure sales strategies to exceed assigned sales KPI’s
The role will require frequent travel and will require you to regularly represent Miral Destinations in the assigned markets.
Scope
- Develop comprehensive understanding of the key markets assigned to you and contribute market insights, market intelligence and solid sales strategy and tactics to the annual Sales Plan for Miral Destinations
- Lead the team to ensure our team is aggressively driving sustainable market performance and market leading awareness for the long-term growth of our destination and assets
- Work with B2B marketing team to negotiate and deploy joint marketing plans aligned with our overall destination objectives
- Conduct review meetings with partners to monitor market performance, joint marketing activity performance (where applicable) and make recommendations for change based on performance and learnings. Ensure requirement for joint marketing activity KPIs is strictly adhered to and an end of campaign report is provided
- Alongside joint marketing activity, develop a market calendar by country/ region that reflects market seasonalities so that Miral Destinations has a dominant presence in the market and superior relationships with our key partners
- Plan cyclical market activities such as roadshows, annual dinners, sales trips, planning trips
- Work closely with our colleagues at DCT to keep ensure DCT’s events are central to our own plans and maintain regular contact at DCT to support them as and when required with market activations
- Monitor performance, market trends and competitor behaviour to ensure that Miral Destinations is ahead of the game with all market activity
- Work in conjunction with colleagues in market to communicate all relevant marketing campaigns to the region relevant to maximise reach of our B2C activity through the B2B channels
- Effectively use the CRM system for daily reporting, tracking leads and other functions as requested.
- Work with Sales Operations Team to ensure contracting for our markets is carried out annually ahead of schedule for the following year
- Resolve order and inventory problems by investigating data and history. Work to solve partner challenges through liaison with Product & Packaging Team, Yas Concierge Team & IT
- Provides responsive (within 24 hour) support to overseas market colleagues and all partners as and when required
- Tracks sales expenses and submits them in a timely fashion for reimbursement.
- Negotiates new products for assigned countries in consultation with overseas colleagues and Revenue Management Team

- Educated to degree level or equivalent in relevant field

- Minimum 5 year’s previous experience within UAE in a leisure sales role or in the attractions industry
