Description:
We are seeking a highly qualified HSE Engineer with significant experience in road and infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring compliance with HSE regulations and standards, conducting risk assessments, and promoting a safe working environment across all project sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and oversee HSE policies, procedures, and practices on road and infrastructure projects.
- Ensure compliance with UAE HSE regulations, particularly MUSANADA and Al Dar standards.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments to identify potential hazards.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure the integration of HSE measures into project planning and execution.
- Lead incident investigations, develop corrective actions, and ensure proper reporting.
- Provide HSE training and awareness to site teams and ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Prepare and maintain HSE documentation, reports, and records.
- Liaise with relevant authorities to ensure all permits and approvals are obtained and maintained.
- Drive continuous improvement of HSE performance and culture across the organization.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Health, Safety, Environmental Management, or a related field.
- Certifications: NEBOSH IGC, IOSH, OSHAD, ISO 45001: 2018, or other relevant HSE certifications.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in HSE management, with a focus on road and infrastructure projects, preferably with MUSANADA and Al Dar.
- Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of UAE HSE regulations and standards.
- Languages: Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Arabic is an advantage.
- License: Valid UAE Driving License is required.

- Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to assess risks and develop effective solutions.
- Flexibility: Ability to work independently and in a team, and handle dynamic work environments and changing priorities.
