Hiring Health & Safety Officer
Location: Dubai, UAE
Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular inspections of school premises, facilities, and equipment to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Develop, implement, and maintain safety policies, procedures, and guidelines tailored to the unique needs of the school environment.
- Coordinate and deliver safety training programs for school staff, students, and visitors.
- Collaborate with department heads and administrators to address safety concerns and promote best practices.
- Conduct risk assessments and investigations into accidents, incidents, and near misses, and recommend corrective actions as necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incidents, and training activities.
- Stay current with relevant health and safety regulations, standards, and best practices in the education sector.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Education, or related field.
- Proven experience working in health and safety management, preferably within an educational setting.
- Strong knowledge of local and international safety regulations and standards applicable to schools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders.
- Attention to detail and strong analytical skills for identifying and mitigating risks.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional certification in Occupational Health & Safety or related field is desirable.
