We are Hiring. We are looking for Holiday Consultant for outbound tourism. The Travel consultant should meet with clients to determine their needs, then select the most appropriate options given time and budget constraints.

Requirements:

• Meets with clients to determine travel needs, budgets and preferences.

• Sells and coordinates transportation, accommodations, insurance, tours and activities.

• Advises clients regarding destinations, cultures, customs, weather and activities.

• Collects payments, books travel arrangements and pays applicable fees.

• Handles travel issues, conflicts, complaints, cancelations and refunds.

• Builds and maintains relationships with travel and tour vendors.

• Attends travel seminars and conferences.

• Conducts research on destinations and industry trends.

• Maintains accurate records of bookings, payments, transactions, phone calls and meetings.

• Contributes to agency efforts by accomplishing related tasks as needed.

• Help client identify their ideal travel package based on their suggestion and requirements

• Study and assimilate all information regarding travel destination such as prices, weather, language, currency, customs etc.

• Regularly maintain a good relationship with our customer

• Provide end to end service while organizing a trip from booking the tickets reserving the hotels, and creating the itinerary

• Provide all relevant and essential information to the tourist regarding their travel like guides, itineraries, brochures and maps

• Sell the appropriate tour package to the right customer and companies

• Negotiate any customization or modification requested and accommodate them to the best level possible

• Resolve any problem that arise regarding the trip for the customer

 

Skills and requirements

• Bachelor's degree in travel and tourism, hospitality business or relevant fields.

• Prior experience as a leisure travel consultant, FIT - Travel consultant

• Should have good contact with Various tour operators, DMC’s, Suppliers and B2B connections in different market.

• Strong knowledge of traveling software and procedures.

• Basic computer skills and software like MS Office.

• Multilingualism is an advantage.

• Excellent communication and people skills.

• Efficient negotiation and sales skills.

• Up to date with domestic and international travel trends.

• Well read on the rules and regulation of tourism.
