Hospitality General Manager

 

Description:

The General Manager will be instrumental in the development and growth of our new brand, overseeing all aspects of the property's operations while ensuring the highest level of guest satisfaction and financial performance. This role requires a visionary leader with a deep understanding of luxury hospitality, brand development, and a relentless pursuit of excellence.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Brand Development and Growth:
  • Lead the strategic development and positioning of our new brand in the market.
  • Cultivate a distinctive brand identity that resonates with our target audience.
  • Develop innovative and luxurious offerings that set us apart from competitors.

 

Operational Leadership:

  • Oversee all property operations, including front office, housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance.
  • Ensure the delivery of unparalleled service and hospitality standards.
  • Implement the operational policies and procedures, designed around the brand

 

Financial Management:

  • Develop and manage the annual budget, ensuring financial targets are met or exceeded
  • Monitor financial performance, focusing on revenue growth, cost control, and profitability.
  • Implement effective financial strategies and analyze data to drive decision-making.

 

Guest Experience:

  • Foster a culture of bespoke guest service, training the team to provide personalized and exceptional experiences in line with the properties SOP’s
  • Address guest feedback promptly and effectively, ensuring all issues are resolved to the highest satisfaction.
  • Continuously enhance the guest experience with unique and luxurious offerings.

 

Team Leadership:

  • Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team, promoting a collaborative and positive work environment.
  • Set clear performance expectations and provide regular feedback and coaching.
  • Encourage continuous improvement and professional growth within the team.

 

Sales and Marketing:

  • Direct the sales and marketing teams to develop strategies that attract and retain high-profile guests.
  • Enhance the property's market presence through strategic partnerships and innovative promotions.
  • Drive brand loyalty and recognition through consistent and impactful communication.

 

Compliance and Safety:

  • Ensure compliance with all local laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Maintain a safe and secure environment for guests and staff.
  • Implement and oversee health and safety protocols and emergency procedures.

 

Qualifications:

  • Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field (or)
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in luxury hotel management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Proven track record of brand development and achieving financial and operational excellence in a luxury environment.
  • Require pre-opening experience, with a track record of pre-openings of luxury brands.
